Grand Wish Project

Creating meaningful moments, restoring dignity, and reminding every
resident that they are valued and remembered.

Ray4Hope has expanded its outreach through year-round engagement, including personal visits, gift-
giving initiatives, and our newest program, the Grand Wish Project. This initiative fulfills small but
meaningful wishes for nursing home residents, such as special meals, personal care items, and
birthday celebrations—moments that restore a sense of individuality and joy.

Building on this effort, we are planning our upcoming Grand Wish Day on Grandparents Day,
September 13, 2026. On this day, we aim to grant a wide range of resident wishes across multiple
facilities, creating a shared experience of joy and connection for seniors throughout our community.

The Grand Wish Project

At Ray4Hope, we believe that even the smallest moments of kindness can make a lasting impact. Ashttps://ray4hope.com/grand-wish-project/?et_fb=1&PageSpeed=off#
part of our year-round outreach, we are proud to introduce the Grand Wish Project—an initiative
dedicated to bringing joy, comfort, and a renewed sense of individuality to nursing home residents.

Participating nursing homes may request a simple wish form to share with their residents. Each
resident can list meaningful wishes—for example, a favorite meal from Applebee’s, a birthday
celebration, cozy slippers, a new outfit, or other personal items that would brighten their day.
From these submissions, we fulfill two types of wishes:

• Small Wishes: Each month, we randomly select six residents and grant one special item or
experience from their list. These moments, though simple, can have a powerful emotional
impact.

• Grand Wishes: For larger opportunities to give, we randomly select 6 residents and aim to
fulfill their entire wish list—creating a more comprehensive and memorable experience.

Building on this effort, we are excited to host our Grand Wish Day on Grandparents Day, September
13, 2026. On this special day, we plan to grant six Grand Wishes across multiple facilities, creating a
shared celebration of joy, connection, and community for seniors.

Our goal is to grow this program and grant many more wishes.

The success of the Grand Wish Project depends entirely on the generosity of donors. Our goal is to
fulfill six small wishes each month and six grand wishes during Grand Wish Day, but the number of
wishes we can grant is directly based on available donations.

With your support, we can continue to create meaningful moments, restore dignity, and remind every
resident that they are valued and remembered.
